Product detailed description

Anemia is not just a laboratory value. In dogs and cats, it can manifest itself in fatigue, weakness, lack of appetite, poorer exercise tolerance or a general decline in vitality. It occurs when the number of red blood cells or the amount of haemoglobin is reduced, and thus the ability of the blood to carry oxygen to the tissues.

WeHemo® has been designed as targeted nutritional support in situations where the body needs to replenish nutrients essential for blood cell production and metabolism. The formula combines iron, folic acid, vitamins, minerals and amino acids, substances important for the formation, maturation, protection and proper function of blood cells.

Practicality is also important. WeHemo® is in the form of an oral suspension that can be administered directly into the mouth or added to the feed. Due to the concentrated formulation, a small amount is sufficient and the product is designed to be well accepted without the typically unpleasant taste of iron preparations.

Comprehensive support of blood formation

WeHemo® provides iron, folic acid, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin K3, minerals and amino acids important for blood cell formation and metabolism.

A highly concentrated and convenient form

The low volume of the daily dose makes it easy to administer even to smaller dogs and cats. The suspension can be administered directly into the mouth or added to the food.

Supports vitality when the body is weakened

The formula targets not only iron, but also cellular protection, mineral metabolism, electrolyte balance and overall support for the body during periods of convalescence, growth or increased demands.

Iron

WeHemo® contains iron in the form of glycinate, a chelated form with higher bioavailability, good tolerance and low toxicity. Iron is essential for the formation of haemoglobin and red blood cells.

B vitamins

Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and B12 support metabolism, proper body function and blood cell formation. In particular, vitamin B12 and folic acid are important in relation to anaemias associated with disorders of folate metabolism.

Vitamin C and vitamin K3

Vitamin C supports iron metabolism and cellular protection. Vitamin K3 is part of a formula targeting processes associated with the formation, maturation and metabolism of blood cells.

Copper and zinc

Copper is important for hemoglobin formation, absorption and utilization of iron. Zinc is involved in the formation of proteins and DNA and may influence the formation, size and oxygen-carrying capacity of red blood cells.

Potassium

Potassium is an important electrolyte. Its deficiency can be manifested by fatigue, inappetence and weakness, especially in animals with chronic kidney disease or general debility.

Essential amino acids

A mixture of amino acids that supports cell formation, metabolism and processes related to the formation, maturation and function of blood cells.

Citrus paradisi and polyphenols

Bioflavonoids and polyphenols promote cellular protection, help reduce oxidative damage and fragility of cell membranes, and contribute to better metabolism of minerals, especially iron.

It will need to be administered long term, the cat has dg AIHA, so it is too early to evaluate. The good thing is that the dose is very small so can be relatively well administered.

We started administering due to anemia in our almost 15 year old Yorkshire. The tablets she was given at the vet couldn't tolerate and she vomited, as did the paste we subsequently bought. Wehemo has been trouble free since the beginning and the hemoglobin and Fe values have stayed at least near the lower limits. I highly recommend......

Používáme více jak rok a půl, fena RTW, po odstranění sleziny anemická. Díky tomuto produktu se daří držet její červené krvinky alespoň na minimech. Děkuji a doufám, že nám bude pomáhat ještě dlouho.

pejskovi podáváme pravidelně podle návodu, je to ale krátká doba na hodnocení produktu. Uvidíme po dobraní a kontrole krevního obrazu zda pomáhá, pokud ano, budeme objednávat další.

Bude třeba podávat dlouhodobě, kočka má dg AIHA, takže je hodnocení ještě předčasné. Fajn je, že dávka je velmi malí, takže lze relativně dobře podat.
