Support your pet's health and well-being.
Due to advances in veterinary care, pets are now living to a ripe old age. Because of this, there is an increase in chronic pain-related problems. Chronic pain affects your pet's health and well-being. It also has a negative impact on their quality of life.WeConfortsupports the vigor and overall well-being of dogs and cats in a variety of circumstances:
- Geriatric animals with sensory impairments.
- Animals with chronic pain conditions due to various causes.
- Animals exposed to high oxidative stress.
- Animals exhibiting chronic cases of fatigue or exhaustion.
- All cases of osteoarthritis associated with chronic pain, especially those treated exclusively with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Osteoarthritis.
- Cancer and cancer-related treatments (e.g., chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, radiation-induced skin burns).
- Persistent postoperative pain (e.g., limb or tail amputation, thoracotomy, onychectomy).
- Oral and periodontal disease (e.g., gingivitis, periodontitis, stomatitis, FOPS).
- Gastrointestinal disease (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, megacolon, constipation, pancreatitis, cholangiohepatitis).
- Ocular diseases (e.g. corneal disease, uveitis, ulcers).
- Urogenital diseases (e.g. interstitial cystitis, chronic kidney disease).
- Dermatological diseases (e.g. otitis, severe itching, burns, chronic wounds).
- Neuropathy due to diabetes.
- Hyperesthesia syndrome.

WeConfort®
Support your pet's health and well-being.
Due to advances in veterinary care, pets are now living to a ripe old age. Because of this, there is an increase in chronic pain-related conditions. Chronic pain affects your pet's health and well-being. It also has a negative impact on their quality of life.
Chronic pain is characterized by mixed nociceptive input. It has no clear boundaries or physiological function.
Types of pain
Nociceptive pain
✜ Pain caused by the activation of nociceptors in response to a stimulus that causes actual or potential tissue damage
✜ So-called "protective pain" alerts the individual to avoid the stimulus (e.g. feeling heat when approaching a heat source will result in flinching to avoid burning)
Inflammatory pain
✜ Pain caused by the release of mediators of inflammation after tissue injury
✜ Commonly occurs after surgery and trauma, but can occur in a number of chronic pain conditions such as osteoarthritis (OA), cancer, gingivitis, otitis, pancreatitis, chronic wounds and uveitis
Neuropathic pain
✜ Pain caused by injury or disease affecting the somatosensory system (i.e. It is associated, for example, with neuropathy caused by diabetes, permanent postoperative pain (PPP, amputation, onychectomy), cancer, and OA
Functional pain
✜ Pain caused by unknown mechanisms, for which no etiology can be identified (no identifiable structural, metabolic, or immunological cause)
✜ These include chronic inflammatory bowel disease, interstitial cystitis, and possibly feline orofacial pain syndrome (FOPS)
Endocannabinoid System
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is found in all mammals and functions as a regulatory system that plays an important role in the functioning of the brain, nervous system and immune system. The ECS is crucial in monitoring these systems and ensuring their proper function. When certain functions are disrupted, the ECS issues an alert that triggers a response in the body to correct the anomalous situation. Compounds that affect the ECS can be produced naturally by the body (endocannabinoids) or obtained externally, such as CBD (cannabidiol). When consumed, CBD can influence the endocannabinoid system and allow the body to work more efficiently.

In one dose:
- Fish oil concentrate containing EPA: 588.5 mg
- Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): 400.00 mg
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): 47.08 mg
- Hemp seed (seed oil): 25 mg
- Concentrated dry extract of Harpagophytum procumbens, Harpago (root): 12 mg
WeConfort includes:
Concentrated dry extract of the Harpago plant (also called Devil's Claw)
It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, especially in the treatment of painful joint manifestations. Studies have shown that this extract can inhibit two metabolic pathways of arachidonic acid, namely the cyclooxygenase pathway (COX) and the lipoxygenase pathway (LOX), which reduces the production of eicosanoids such as prostaglandins. In the context of COX pathway inhibition, Harpago appears to specifically inhibit COX-2 but not COX-1, which explains its high tolerability and milder side effects. This is very different from older anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which inhibit both non-specific isoforms of the enzyme.Omega-3 (concentrate with EPA)
Using specific technological processes, it is now possible to separate the substances that make up omega-3s, namely eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Recent studies have shown that DHA can assist in the treatment of degenerative processes. EPA has been associated with various metabolic processes involving inflammation. EPA supplementation has positive effects on lipid metabolism. It reduces body fat accumulation and insulin resistance, and also has a positive effect on hepatic steatosis. Administration of EPA promotes the synthesis of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids such as PG3 prostaglandin and LT5 leukotriene and reduces the synthesis of highly inflammatory eicosanoids.Hemp oil
Hemp oil is rich in cannabidiol (CBD) and can modulate the endocannabinoid system (ECS). If the pain is related to inflammation or hyperalgesia, exogenous cannabinoids (such as CBD) will induce different levels of numbness. In addition to all the functions associated with the ECS, hemp oil is rich in fatty acids that act as a powerful antioxidant.Reviews
