Skin and Coat as a Reflection of Overall Health
Coat quality is not just an aesthetic detail. Shine, density, elasticity, and the condition of the skin often provide a very accurate indication of how well the body is functioning internally. Once the skin barrier is compromised, itching, redness, flaking, excessive shedding, a dull coat, or recurring skin problems may occur, significantly affecting both the animal’s comfort and the owner’s daily well-being.
WeDerm® treats the skin as an active protective barrier. Essential fatty acids support the ceramide lipid layer, which helps retain moisture in the skin and protect it from external influences. Omega-3 fatty acids also help control inflammatory processes, while zinc, biotin, B vitamins, and vitamins A, D3, E, and C support regeneration, keratinization, cellular protection, and long-term coat quality.
It is precisely this combination of fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that makes WeDerm® a comprehensive solution for animals suffering from itching, dermatitis, alopecia, redness, flaking, seborrhea, and sensitive skin. At the same time, it also appeals to pet owners who want to maintain the healthy appearance, coat quality, and overall condition of their dog or cat over the long term. Another advantage is the choice between capsules and an oral solution—forms that can be tailored to both the animal and the owner’s preferences.
Why do veterinarians choose WeDerm?

Comprehensive Support for the Skin Barrier
WeDerm® combines omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that support the skin barrier, coat quality, and natural skin regeneration.
Targeted relief for itching and dermatological symptoms
The formula is designed to support skin function in cases of dermatitis, itching, redness, alopecia, flaking, seborrhea, and other signs of skin imbalance.
Daily beauty support for a healthy coat
WeDerm® is not intended solely for dermatological issues. Thanks to its combination of essential fatty acids, biotin, zinc, and vitamins, it is also suitable for long-term support of a shiny, thick, and healthy-looking coat.
Main Ingredients
Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
Omega-6 fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid, help maintain the skin’s intercellular ceramide lipid layer, support its barrier function, and reduce water loss through the skin. The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA support the production of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids and help reduce the production of highly inflammatory mediators.
Linoleic acid, LA
Linoleic acid is essential for the formation and maintenance of the epidermal ceramide lipid layer. It is this layer that forms the skin’s protective barrier and helps control water loss through the skin.
Gamma-linolenic acid, GLA
GLA supports the synthesis of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids, such as prostaglandin PG-1, and helps maintain skin integrity and proper keratinocyte maturation.
EPA and DHA
EPA and DHA support the production of anti-inflammatory eicosanoids, such as prostaglandin PG-3 and leukotriene LT-5, and help reduce the production of mediators associated with inflammation.
Zinc, Biotin, and B Vitamins
Zinc is important for the balance of collagen fibers in the skin. Together with biotin and B vitamins, it supports coat quality and keratinization and helps reduce symptoms such as alopecia, redness, and itching.
Vitamin A and Vitamin D3
Vitamin A supports cell renewal and the activation of keratinization in epidermal cells. Vitamin D3 plays a role in maintaining the balance of the skin and coat, especially in older animals.
Vitamin E and Vitamin C
Vitamin E, as a fat-soluble antioxidant, and vitamin C, as a water-soluble antioxidant, help protect cell membranes from oxidative damage.
