Targeted Support for Horses with Cushing's Syndrome (PPID)

Veterinary dietary supplement
to support horses and ponies with PPID.
After 3 months of using Ekycush Control, 97% of owners reported a significant improvement in their horse’s overall condition.
Three-pronged support to ensure comfort and restore vitality in affected horses and ponies.
Can be used in horses both treated and untreated with pergolide.
Contains ingredients recognized by veterinary specialists.
Suitable for both short-term treatment courses and year-round use.
❗ Do not use in horses under racing conditions.
❗ Do not use on pregnant or lactating mares.
21% of horses over 15 years of age are affected by PPID.
This condition cannot be cured and requires daily care aimed at managing the various symptoms that cause the horse discomfort. Regular and careful veterinary monitoring is essential, and treatment with pergolide may be prescribed. At the same time, using an appropriate dietary supplement can provide the horse with an additional level of comfort.
What happens inside the horse’s body?
In horses with Cushing’s disease, dopamine—which normally regulates the production of other hormones—is not produced in sufficient quantities. As a result of this loss of regulatory function, hormones such as ACTH are released in excess.
These hormones play various roles in the body, and an imbalance among them leads to the development of clinical signs that cause the horse discomfort, such as:
- hirsutism (excessive hair growth),
- laminitis,
- loss of muscle mass,
- apathy and reduced vitality, etc.
Supporting dopamine production and regulating the secretion of hormones such as ACTH helps restore the horse’s comfort and improve its quality of life.

Composition and Mechanism of Action
Three-tiered action to ensure the comfort of horses and ponies with PPID
1️⃣ Hypothalamus
Ginkgo biloba L.: contains specific flavonoids that act on the brain.
Mucuna pruriens: a natural source of L-DOPA, a precursor to dopamine
2️⃣ Pituitary Gland
Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus): contains diterpenes that affect pituitary function.
3️⃣ Overall well-being
Cinnamomum cassia Blume: contributes to metabolic regulation.
Vitamin A: plays a vital role in the brain’s physiological functions.
Indications for Use
Regardless of whether the horse is already being treated or not, Ekycush Control can be used:
