Chronic kidney disease is particularly common in older dogs and cats and is one of the most significant diagnoses in geriatric veterinary care. However, it is not just about the kidneys themselves. As kidney function declines over the long term, multiple problems can begin to accumulate in the body simultaneously—ranging from hyperphosphatemia and uremia to proteinuria, high blood pressure, metabolic acidosis, inflammation, fibrosis to loss of appetite, fatigue, vomiting, constipation, weight loss, dehydration, or increased thirst.

WeNefro® Advanced therefore does not rely on a single ingredient, but on a well-thought-out multisupport approach. The goal is to support several key areas simultaneously: phosphorus binding, reduction of uremic toxins, support for intestinal transit, control of acidosis, support for cardiovascular balance, management of inflammatory processes, and replenishment of vitamins essential for kidney patients.

The choice of dosage form is also important. Tablets are particularly suitable when treating hyperphosphatemia is the priority, while the oral suspension may be appropriate when broader support for inflammatory and fibrotic processes—or easier administration—is more important.
