WeGastro
Stomach protection and relief from upset stomach.
WeGastro® is a dietary supplement for dogs and cats whose ingredients contribute to the protection and normal functioning of the stomach
Use:
- Add 1 ml for every 5 kg of animal.
- We recommend attaching the syringe to the bottle, withdrawing the desired amount and using the syringe to administer directly into the animal's mouth.
- Administer after eating or after taking medication, two to three times a day.

- Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata): 20 mg
- Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla / Matricaria recutita): 1.34 mg
- Sodium alginate: 6 mg

When in contact with stomach acid, sodium alginate acts by two different mechanisms: It induces a protective and healing activity of the gastric and esophageal mucosa, which is related to a reduced cell adhesive capacity and to the stimulation and migration of repair cells. In the upper part of the stomach contents, it forms an adhesive gel with a buffering effect that reduces gastroesophageal reflux.Knitting passion fruit
Passiflora incarnata is able to bind to GABA receptors, which has a relaxing effect and reduces central stimuli to vomiting. It is also associated with an anticholinergic effect that leads to relaxation of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Studies have shown that some species of passion fruit have antiulcerogenic abilities as they can protect the mucosa from the ulcerogenic effects of certain substances, specifically HCL.Chamomile true
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) protects the stomach from damage due to its antioxidant properties. The stomach is also protected by various defence mechanisms of the gastric mucosa. These include the protective effect of sulphides on the gastrointestinal tract and their neutralising action on certain intracellular mediators such as free iron and hydrogen peroxide. Some studies have demonstrated the antiulcerogenic ability of chamomile in conjunction with other constituents such as flavonoids, fatty acids, amino acids and polysaccharides.
