Easy breathing (all year round)

Breathing problems are the main cause of poor performance in horses. They reduce the ability to oxygenate the muscles, which directly affects athletic performance and thus creates specific nutritional requirements for horses.

What to look out for in a horse

It is important to recognise the signs that may indicate the need for upper airway support, especially if the weather changes. Symptoms include: reduced performance, loss of appetite, reluctance to exercise, rapid or labored breathing, and runny nostrils.

Do not hesitate to note these symptoms accurately and communicate them to your vet who will be able to advise and recommend the use of Balsamic Air.

Plan ahead

In our vets' experience, it is possible to anticipate situations where Balsamic Air might be useful to prevent occasional breathing difficulties. This may occur, for example, if it starts to get cold, or if the horse starts to train or comes into contact with other horses.

If your horse is older, he may be less fit and Balsamic Air will be an even greater benefit to him. For example, some riders systematically use Balsamic Air when they travel to events where their horse comes into contact with many other horses.

Essential oils (EOs)

Essential oil is a complex mixture of substances obtained by distillation from certain parts of plants, and it is this complexity that gives it its properties. Essential oils are composed primarily of "fine" molecules and are easily absorbed by the body.

Changes in environment, habits or even just temperature can weaken your horse's respiratory function. This can lead to poor performance or simply respiratory problems.

Recipe

Our veterinarians choose to administer the plants in the form of an essential oil, which allows the plant nutrients to be released into the body immediately. Dried plants or plant extracts do not allow for this immediate process.

It is because of these high standards that Balsamic Air has been successful for over 30 years. The purity of the essential oils used can be recognized by the very characteristic subtle herbal scent of the product. The formula is complemented by a mother tincture of thyme for longer-lasting treatment of respiratory needs.

The ADP program ensures that Balsamic Air contains no contamination that could lead to a positive result in anti-doping tests.

Recommendation

Don't hesitate to use Balsamic Air when it gets cold or when you change your horse's environment. Riders like to give this syrup to their horses, for example, a few days before and after competition, as well as during long trips in a confined space such as a box or truck.

Because of its texture, it can be administered either directly into the horse's mouth or by spraying it around the horse. Balsamic Air is palatable to horses and can be easily added to feed.

Balsamic Air

Anne-Violaine Brisou

Helping my horses breathe easier is essential for me. I always take bottles of Balsamic Air with me wherever I go, as some of my horses tend to start coughing when exposed to dusty hay or dry racetrack surfaces, as well as during transport when confined spaces start to irritate their respiratory mucous membranes. This product helps them arrive at the races feeling fresh. Without an unrestricted ability to breathe, it is impossible to complete the entire course.

Your questions

Balsamic Air

My horse is about to enter a competition. Can I put Balsamic Air on him?

Yes, Balsamic Air does not contain any ingredients that could lead to a positive result in anti-doping tests, so you can use it without risk and at all times.
Balsamic Air

There are plenty of syrups for horses on the market. What makes Balsamic Air different?

The answer is simple, Balsamic Air contains concentrated essential oils, which ensures they are absorbed immediately when your horse swallows them, not after the product has been digested. Essential oils also allow you to preserve as many of the nutrients found in the original plant as possible. You will quickly understand this when you smell the product. In addition, depending on your horse's preference, the product can be administered in three different ways: Balsamic Air can be administered into the mouth with a syringe, sprayed on hay or pellets, or sprayed around your horse.
Balsamic Air

My horse is about to enter a competition. Can I put Balsamic Air on him?

Yes, Balsamic Air does not contain any ingredients that could lead to a positive result in anti-doping tests, so you can use it without risk and at all times.
Balsamic Air

I give my horses Balsamic Air every year whenever their noses start running; what more can I do?

This seems to correspond to a period of reduced immunity in your horses. Administering Immuno RS before the colder weather arrives would undoubtedly help to provide your horses with the nutrients they need to better cope with this specific period.
Balsamic Air

Besides Balsamic Air, what else can I do to help my horse breathe easier?

Managing your horse's immediate surroundings is essential. Thoroughly clean the stable, limit contact with newly stabled horses or make sure its immunity is well supported with specific nutrients such as those in Immuno RS. Do not hesitate to seek advice from your veterinarian.

Reviews

I always have this product in my saddle room. Whenever there is a hint of a cough, sople, I put on. The horses are immediately relieved, the mucus dissolves and they blow well. I definitely recommend it for quick deployment when respiratory illnesses start to occur in the fall/winter season.

Jana Fialová

With my asthmatic gelding, I use Balsamic Air product for inhalations, which I do not like, the horse is relieved directly after inhalation - it works. The horse readily accepts this product even in the feed. I consider Audevard products for horses to be of high quality and functional.

Kristýna Nemetová

This product is an absolute "must have" for me for fall and winter. I see a significant improvement in my horse almost immediately after administration.

Aneta Kahlenová

It helps and the seahorse accepts without a problem.

Veronika Posirilova

Effective at the first sign of a cold or respiratory irritation.

Dana Beranová

Balsamic Air is the perfect syrup for horses with breathing difficulties. Even the pickier horses accept it without any problem. I also like the possibility of using it by inhalation. I can only recommend it.

Markéta Krobová

Balsamic Air and Balsamic Control have been an integral part of our care for the panting grasshopper. She started coughing and we couldn't cure the cough with anything. After some time, as her condition worsened (and after trying several different preparations from other brands), we contacted another vet who recommended Balsamic Air as the first rescue. The mare started to improve right after the second dose. We had an endoscopy done and diagnosed her with shortness of breath. Since then, we have combined Balsamic Air when the problem worsened (for coughing) and Balsamic control (for support and relief) and the mare was finally able to start functioning normally again. For myself, I recommend with all 10 ❤️ We are currently going to test Ekyflex osteo on a horse with a broken sesamoid bone.

Valerie Kynčlová

Another product I use from Audevard is Balsamic Air. At one point I was putting it in food, but I found that it can also be inhaled, so now I use it in that form in combination with saline as an ongoing prevention. The change of regime and preventive inhalation is bearing fruit, so far he is breathing steadily and not coughing. And I'd like to try Harpagyl, as the shortness of breath has been joined by movement problems.

Michaela Rojková

Balsamic AIR really helped us a lot. My older gelding started coughing a lot at the beginning of spring, and the trouble was getting worse fast. The vet dealt with it with injections for an allergic reaction. This (2x) always helped , but only from the worst of it. We have tried Cough Herbs which have helped in the past but this time they didn't work, probably because it was due to an allergic reaction and not a cold. So I researched and tried Balsamic AIR. It worked for Beaver. After the first round of administration, there was a clear improvement. After about 2 or 3 weeks the cough started to come back so we gave it another shot. And it's good. About 3 months she's been fine. There is still one more round of treatment left in the bottle so I have it stashed away for when it comes again.

Michaela Jílková

I was extremely satisfied with the product.

Lucie Húsková

She's great. We'll order again.

Petra Majerová

Balsamic Air - Really helps, in a few days the cough is over.

Michaela Kadlecová

So far I have had the opportunity to try five products and they have all lived up to expectations. For me, a big praise for the processing and delivery of the order.

Iva Kadlecová

I have repeatedly used products for horses from you and great satisfaction. Both with the products and with the delivery and communication. Over the winter I always order balsamic control and balsamic Air for my horses respiratory tract, which are also recommended by my vet.

Lucia Bajcarová

I purchased Balsamic air from you for my horse who was breathing heavily and had a constantly stuffy nose. After 18 days of this product in the inhaler, his condition has improved rapidly and today he has almost no major problems.

Josef Kozelek

Noticeable improvement after administration of the preparation.

Petr Stanko

I order regularly. Super product.

Zuzana Beranová

Super product, easy to administer and well accepted by the horses.

Petra Zelená

I would like to provide a review on Audevard products, specifically Balsamic Air. As horses are struggling more and more with respiratory problems these days, it is a good idea to carry Balsamic Air in the early stages as it has the advantage of multiple uses. It is ideal both for the acute phase and for prevention when going to the races and after the races. The spray option is also excellent, where the box smells wonderful and I can further encourage better breathing in the horse.

Kateřina Kubečková

For myself, I have very good experience with Balsamic Air supplement, not only is it well accepted by horses, but it can be used practically any way, before training with a syringe in the horse's mouth, or as a refreshment of a warm mash, where horses inhale it a little, or classically mixed into regular feed. For me, a good product to help relieve a cold or increased dustiness.

Martina Bajcurová

I am very satisfied with Balsamic Air and Balsamic Control. I order both regularly. Since I ride all-around, I also have a good experience with ZZen flash soothing paste and also with Redplex, which is again for performance. I'm currently trying Ekyflex Evo, so when I get results I'll rate that too. :)

Petra Bendová

Super.Really helps.

Andrea Konecna

I bought Balsamic Air from you for colds and coughs. I am very satisfied with this product, I can only recommend it.

Jitka Veselá

We have been using products from audevard for almost three years. In the beginning Bo yea sacc after weaning, also balsamic air for bronchitis and certainly for two years the vitamin supplement Bonutron yearling. We are very satisfied with everything.

Petra Pešková

L. Panek

I am very happy with Audevard's Balsamic air and balsamic control , which significantly helps my horse's coughing and breathing. Immediately after putting it on I could see the difference and the rapid onset of effect. I highly recommend it to everyone it is not a waste of money , but a well chosen support for my pet.

Anna Macakova

Finally something that works for our horses.

Andrea Svobodová

Great product! My horse often had trouble breathing in the winter, but after using Balsamic he was visibly relieved.

Lucie K.

We use our mare during allergy season and it really works. She breathes better and is calmer.

Tomas R.

It helps well with irritated airways. I would just appreciate a larger package.

Veronika S.

Visible improvement after just a few days. I recommend it to anyone who has a sensitive horse.

Petr M.

My gelding has been struggling with respiratory problems for several years, especially during the summer months when there is more dust and pollen. I have tried several natural and veterinary products, but none have worked as well as Audevard Balsamic. After a few days, I noticed that he was coughing less, breathing more calmly, and overall happier. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relieve their horse of irritated airways.

Veronika Sedláčková

We compete with my horse in show jumping and after more demanding races he sometimes had irritated airways, especially when there was a lot of dust in the hall. I started him on Balsamic as a preventative and it really helps. We also used it for a slight cold and he recovered much faster. A great supplement that I always keep on hand.

Jana T.

What I like most is its natural composition and quick effect. My mare had slight breathing difficulties after the hay change, but after two days of use, her condition visibly improved. Moreover, she accepts it without any problems.

Lucie Králová

Helps well

P. Small

My gelding started having trouble breathing, especially when the weather changed or when he was in a hall with poorer ventilation. The vet recommended Audevard Balsamic and after a few days I could see improvement. He was breathing calmer, stopped coughing and was generally happier.
