Older horses, which are exposed to rather moderate stress, have significantly lower mineral (Ca and P) and trace element (Cu, Zn, I, Fe...)requirements than younger adult horses. These horses, on the other hand, have different, specific nutritional needs. It is therefore crucial to supply the necessary nutrients in the right amounts and without excess.
