In older horses that are subjected to relatively light workloads, the requirements for minerals (Ca and P) and trace elements (Cu, Zn, I, Fe…) are significantly lower than in younger adult horses. These horses, on the other hand , have different, specific nutritional needs. It is therefore crucial to provide the necessary nutrients in the correct amounts and without excess.
