    Ekygard+

    Disabilities caused by nervousness, stress, and bilious disorders.
    As a supplement for racehorses during training, horses with an upset stomach and foals taking medication. The product protects the gastric mucosa, dampens acidity of gastric contents, promotes gastric mucosal recovery and stabilizes gastric microflora.

    Similar to an injector - Ekygard flash.
    Administer when colic symptoms occur.

    60% of horses suffer from stomach upset, with 40% showing no clinical signs*. Stress, changes in routine (travelling to competitions, changing stables, etc.), activity level and diet are factors that can increase the acidity level in the stomach. This can affect the horse's quality of life, digestive function and, of course, athletic performance. During these critical periods, specific nutritional support becomes essential, as it is necessary to restore the horse's well-being, which has a direct impact on his racing or working potential.

    Recipe

    The recipe uses the latest generation ingredients: Pectigard Complex® (pectin-lecithin), magnesium hydroxide, sea buckthorn berries and probiotics, EKYGARD+ integrates all the ingredients recommended by ECEIM** for the management of stomach disorders.

    This new formulation also contains aloe vera, which has a soothing effect, and hay fenugreek, which stimulates appetite.

    Your questions

    How do I know if I should use Ekygard+ for my horse?

    You can use Ekygard+ if you suspect that your horse has too much stomach acidity.

    The general symptom is that the horse is not finishing the entire ration or stops feeding the pellets. He has a variable appetite. He has abdominal cramps after eating. Has difficulty gaining weight or has a poor quality coat. Teeth grinding. Yawns frequently. Eats dirt. He is restless and folds his ears back when he is groomed. Unresponsive to foot. You don't have to wait for signs of acidosis to appear and you can take action now. In fact, you can use Ekygard+ as a preventative measure even in a horse without suspicious symptoms.

    When should I use Ekygard+ for my horse?

    Ekygard+ can be used continuously throughout the year to provide constant protection for the stomach. Ekygard+ can be used during the most stressful times for your horse: racing season, change of environment, start of work, change of stabling, long distance transport, etc.

    Can I use Ekygard+ when my horse is racing?

    Ekygard+ belongs to the ADP program. Therefore, you can use it without risk without your horse testing positive for anti-doping during competitions.

    Is this product also suitable for pregnant mares?

    All Audevard products except Harpagyl are formulated from plants that are non-toxic to pregnant mares. Because they are supplements, they have not been directly tested on pregnant mares, but there are no ingredients in them that could be toxic to pregnancy.
